FIT IT Retail Sales & Customer Care

  The FIT IT Retail Sales & Customer Care programme has been developed in close conjunction with the retail industry and provides learners with the skills and attributes necessary to pursue a career in sales. 

Course Aims and Objectives

The aim of the course is to provide graduates with the skills, knowledge and competencies to enable them to pursue a career in sales role, with particular emphasis on technology sales. Successful graduates will have attained a good depth of knowledge and expertise on a range of products and technologies in the consumer electronics sales area.

What are the progression paths?

Graduates of the IT Retail Sales and Customer Care programme have progressed onto a number of different roles and career paths on completion of their programme. A number of graduates have secured employment in the retail field including sales and customer care roles.

Alternatively, learners who wish to progress onto further education will be assisted by both FIT Training & Employment Officers and guidance staff within their college. Previous graduates have progressed onto further education programmes in the fields of social science, business and IT.
