What does the course entail?
The modern business and administration environment requires a range of capabilities in areas such as IT, presentation / communications skills, the internet and general administration.
This programme imparts effective office administration skills with a proficiency in IT, providing participants with the complement of skills necessary to pursue employment opportunities in the public, private or community sector.

How can I progress in this area?
With experience in an office environment you may progress from a support role to a lead role with responsibility for a particular area such as payroll, invoicing, purchasing, or be appointed as administration support to a project, department or senior staff member / management.
With further skills development and training you could progress to a role of office manager or office administrator or specialise in certain areas such human resource management, accounts, public relations, marketing or IT support.
This course also gives learners a good basis from which to progress onto further education. There are a broad range of further education opportunities on offer at the moment that graduates can progress onto on completion of their course.
